AMDC Donations
One of the objectives of the AMDC is to raise funds in support of educational, cultural and sporting activities in the University.

In 2017 the Club donated £1000 to the Irvine Scholarship in Chemistry Fund, set up by Julia Melvin in memory of her Grandfather Principal James Irvine. Julia reports that this donation was a great encouragement in the early stages. She understands that the fund has reached the half-way mark. There have been one or two outstanding gifts and a couple of incentivizing activities are in the pipeline, so depending on the outcome of these, good headway may be made in 2021. She wants the After Many Days Club to know that she will always be grateful for their early support and indication of affection for her Grandfather.
200 Club Lottery
The “200 Club” Lottery raises money to donate to projects chosen by the Committee from suggestions by members and applications from University bodies or from students themselves.
Each £10 ticket is entered in 2 draws (at the Lunch in January and the Lunch during the reunion weekend in June).
The more members who join, the more support we can offer so please consider joining.
